La Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) a procédé ce mercredi 05 février au tirage au sort des quarts de finale de la coupe de la Confédération Africaine de football, la compétition sœur à la ligue des champions. Deux chocs de l’Afrique du Nord auront lieu.
Finaliste malheureux de la dernière édition, la Renaissance Sportive de Berkane jouera les Égyptiens d’Al Masry pour une place dans le carré d’as. Berkane grand favori de la compétition dispose d’une équipe compétitive et prête pour la consécration suprême. Les Berkawoui chercheront à mettre plus en lumière leur statut de club redoutable face à Al Masry un peu fébrile. Mais dans un derby de l’Afrique du Nord, il est difficile de prédire le nom du vainqueur.
Annoncé aussi, favori, Horoya de la Guinée Conakry jouera le mythique club d’Enyimba qui retrouve peu à peu son passé glorieux.
Al Nasr Benghazi de la Lybie cherchera à écrire une page de son football face aux Marocains d’Hassania Agadir.
Zanaco de la Zambie qui a arraché sa qualification lors de la dernière journée de la phase de groupes affrontera les Égyptiens du FC Pyramids.
Ces rencontres des quarts de finale se dérouleront le 1er mars pour ce qui est de l’aller et le 08 mars pour les matchs retour.
